Yakumo Mega Image 84 Digital Camera

Yakumo Mega Image 84 Silver Digital Camera is one of the latest additions to Yakumo’s Mega Family, though they have presented an augmented version in Mega Image 85. This camera arguably has a wide range of features coming at a relatively low cost. The main attraction of this camera is its 8 x optical zoom with an added 4 x digital zoom. This aspect, when combined with a 4megapixel resolution sensor, gives a synergistic effect in realizing an image with striking details.
Monitor Display
The display functions of this camera starts with a 1.6” TFT screen with a resolution of 334 x 240 pixels that says much about its image detailing capabilities. The screen further shows date and time on it. Image editing as well as album compilation is allowed here through the provision of some smart software like Photo Explorer 8.0 SE, Cool 360 and Video Studio 7.0 SE of ULEAD. This camera also facilitates finer options like picture frames, grid lines display, image cropping, sequence shot, histogram and manual white balance contrast and saturation. Digital filtration through black & white, sepia, solarisation and colour modes is also provided here. Finally here, an array of exposure and scene modes like portrait, self, landscape, night, night portrait, auto, sport, etc adorns the image enhancement capacity of this digital camera.
Light and Flash features
Yakumo Mega Image 84 Portable Digital Camera offers a smart aperture priority apart from shutter speed priority to gain the optimal light advantage. ISO standards of 50 to 400 are also provided here; though an ISO 800 should had been a welcome entry. A total of six white balancing modes adorn this digital camera’s colour enhancement. The built-in flash of this device offers four modes such as slow, force on, auto red eye reduction and off.
Other Features
An enterprising addition, apart from all the above features to prop up an aspiring shutterbug here is an optical viewfinder. This aspect combined with a macro shooting range of 20 to 50 cm in this camera, effectuates the capturing of remarkable close up images. A video mode display and sound recording materialized through an integrated microphone comes as added niceties in this digital camera.
