The Sony W290 is Sony's latest offering to the photographic enthusiasts. With its great functionalities, it is possible to capture some great snaps with this digital camera's 12.1 mega-pixel sensor. A higher resolution also ensures large poster sized prints of the photos. This Sony W290 12MP Digital Camera it measures about 97.6 x 57.4 x 22.6 mm in dimensions and weighs about 176 grams. A generous 3-inch LCD screen has been provided for previewing the images before firing away the shutter. The captured images can also be reviewed on this LCD monitor. The patented BIONZ image processing engine is used that has the capability of delivering faster performance and better quality images along with minimal noise factor.

Furthermore, the smile shutter option will fire the shutter as soon as a smiling subject is detected ensuring all happy moments are preserved. The ISO 3200 helps in optimal low light shooting.
