Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W170 Black Digital Camera is an augmented product, part of the of DSC-W series of Sony. Sony has also announced the launch of its four new models,other than this; W120, W130, W150 digital cameras.The W series is a nice fit between the budget priced Cyber shot S-series and the more up-scaled, style minded T-series. Moreover, it occur in the form of colorful and moderately featured cameras priced between $200 and $300.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W170 Black works around an improved face detection system. This new system has the ability to distinguish between adult and child faces to adjust the focus and auto exposure accordingly. There is a “smile shutter” mode, which is a technology that automatically clicks, when your subject smiles. Using this face detection mode users can decide whether this camera automatically shoots children and adults. The 10megapixel W-170 beacons over the lower two models W-120 and the W-130 in terms of sensor resolution.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W-170 10mp Digital Camera features a 28mm to 140mm equivalent f/3.3-5.2 lens, 2.7 inch LCD screen and an optical view-finder. The scene recognition feature enables the camera to choose the right scene preset mode. It also offers slide-shows with multiple music tracks. Other offers of this digital camera are;transition effect, favorite photo folder for your favorite snaps and photo filtering by date and smile. The colours they would be available in, are black, red, silver, and champagne.
