The perfect blend of the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with this new 8.1-mega-pixel camera assures rich performance of the functionalities of the device. This lens supports an optical zoom of 3x. The other zooming features supported by the camera include 15x smart zoom and 6x precision digital zoom. The lens is constructed with 7 elements in 5 groups that also include 3 aspheric elements.
Among the exclusive features that are supported by the camera the high sensitivity anti blur function is of importance. The imaging sensor used in this new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W100 digital camera is a Super HAD CCD sensor having a size of 1/1.8 of an inch.
