Samsung Cameras is pleased to announce the Samsung S850 Digital Camera which is a compact and feature packed device. The Samsung S850 8MP Digital Camera has a dimension of 104 x 63.6 x 24.8 mm and a weight of 172 grams. Its 1/1.8″ CCD sensor provides a resolution of 8.1 mega-pixel that assures superior image quality. The internal memory of this portable digicam is 20MB; this can be increased by using external memory cards. Viewing of images can be done of the camera’s 2.5- inch, 230k pixels display screen. The focal length of this gizmo varies between 7.8 to 39mm, which is equivalent to 38 to 190mm on a 35mm equivalent camera.

Samsung S850 Digital Camera comes with 5x optical zoom and a 5x digital zoom. The optical and digital zoom of a camera determines the amount of magnification that can be provided to an image.
