Pentax Optio E70 Digital Camera

Pentax has introduced a small, affordable and pocket sized Pentax Optio E70 Digital Camera, which comes with easy to read controls and simple operations. The Pentax Optio E70 10MP Digital Camera measures 3.8 x 2.4 x 0.9 inches in dimension and weighs around 3.9 ounces. The consists of 1/2.33-inch CCD sensor, which provides a sensor resolution of 10 mega-pixels. The sensor resolution bears a direct proportionality with the image quality, thus higher the resolution, better is the image quality. This portable digital camera also includes a 2.4-inch LCD display, which can be used to preview and view images. Although, this camera has a 34.8MB internal memory, it does provide a socket for inserting external SD or SDHC memory cards.
The Pentax Optio E70 Digital Camera comes with 3x optical zoom. The optical magnification does not adversely affect the image quality. The camera also offers a 5.7x digital zoom, which however adversely affects the image quality. The shutter speed varies between 4 seconds to 1/2000 seconds. The focal length provided by this camera is 6.3-18.9 mm, which is equivalent to 35-105mm on a 35mm film based camera. In case of digital cameras, a higher ISO sensitivity indicates better picture quality when shot in low light conditions. The ISO sensitivity ranges between 64 to 6400.
The Pentax Optio E70 Ultra-Compact Digital Camera consists of the Pentax Auto Picture Mode that instantly selects from 7 shooting modes to effectively match the situation. The Pixel Track Shake reduction function helps in reducing the blurring of images caused due to camera shake even in challenging lighting conditions.
