Panasonic has announced the Panasonic Lumix DMC G1 Digital Camera, which is a high end tough and rugged camera with lots of interesting features. The Panasonic Lumix DMC G1 12MP Digital Camera uses Live MOS sensor that comes with a resolution of 12.1 mega-pixels. A higher sensor resolution helps deliver superior quality images. It comes with digital interchangeable lens system. It has an electronic viewfinder instead of the conventional optical one that is used in other cameras. Also it utilises a mirrorless structure and is the world’s first Micro Four Thirds camera. The images can be viewed on the camera’s 3-inch LCD screen that has a display resolution of 460k pixels. You can also send the images to be viewed on the camera’s Live Viewfinder that comes with a 1440k pixel resolution. The focal length of the camera ranges between 14mm to 45mm which is equivalent to 28mm to 90mm on a 35mm camera.
