The Olympus MJU 5000 12MP Digital Camera measures 96.3 x 57.0 x 24.6 mm in dimension and weighs about 125 grams. It is made up of CCD sensors that has an image resolution of 12.1 mega-pixels. The camera includes a 36MB internal memory that can be extended using xD and microSD storage media. Images can be viewed on the camera’s 2.7-inch LCD screen, the television (through the AV port) as well as on the computer (using the USB interface).

The focal length range of this camera lies between 6.3 to 31.5mm; this is equal to about 36 to 180mm in a 35mm equivalent film based camera. It comes with advanced Face Detection technology that can track and focus on up-to 16 faces; it combines this technique with the Shadow Adjustment technology so that your portraits come out just perfect. Additionally it uses the TruePic III Image Processor for faster image handling and better image quality. On of the best features is the Beauty mode that sharpens the contours and fine line for a beautiful photo.
