Nikon-S6 Nikon S6 Digital Camera Review Nikon has a big share in the world market for its cameras. They’ve recently introduced another product, Nikon CoolPix S6 White digital camera. This product has got a very good appeal among the people. It also is a fast moving camera in the market. It contains a lot of advanced features.

RESOLUTION

Generally resolution indicates the optimum quality of the picture. (The resolution is measured in pixels. A mega pixel is a million pixels. Each dot in the picture is a pixel. The camera which handles more than 2 million pixels (i.e., 2 mega pixels) have the capacity to produce pictures that can be printed in A3 sheets). The maximum resolution of Nikon CoolPix S6 White digital camera is 2816 x 2112 pixels. This camera is available with 2048×1536, 1024×768, and 640×480 pixels also.

THE SENSOR

The sensor employed in this new digital camera is the CCD sensor. The size of the camera sensor is 1/2.5 inch. The colour filter that is used in this camera is RGB. The number of total pixels in the sensor unit is 6.2 mega pixels.

LENS/ZOOM FACILITIES

The optical zoom capacity of the camera is 3 x. This camera has a focal length of 35-105 mm and it has a Digital zoom capacity of 4.0 x. Aperture – (Indicates how much light the lens lets in. The lower the number, more the light comes in). This new Nikon Nikon CoolPix S6 White digital camera has an Aperture of F3.0-F5.4 This camera has only Auto focus facility. And the focus distance has a range of 30-4. This Camera has continuous drive feature, hence you can take quick shots with out having to wait in between the shots. Nikon digital camera has an internal flash support. The flash modes in this cameras are Auto, Auto Red eye reduction, suppressed flash, flash exposure compensation, Flash cancel red eye reduction, slow sync, forced flash, rear curtain sync etc.

THE MONITOR

Nikon CoolPix S6 White digital camera has an LCD colour monitor. Where you can instantly see the result of the photograph that you’ve taken. The LCD screen is the size of 3.0 inches. The resolution is 230000 pixels. The camera lets you do video recording also. The image format of this camera is JPEG. It has self-timer option. By using USB option you can connect the camera with your PC too.

MEMORY UNIT

The memory unit is supported with Secure Digital, Multi Media Card. The memory has a storage capacity of 20 MB.

THE POWER SOURCE

Nikon CoolPix S6 White digital camera contains a lithium ion rechargeable battery. A battery charger also comes with the package. The camera weighs of 0.31 lb and the dimensions of the camera is 60×100.5×21 mm. (H x W x D)
