Kodak has added a new gizmo to its-series with the feature rich Kodak EasyShare Z1285 Digital Camera. This one comes with a dimension of 89.5x64.5x31.6 mm and a weight of 161 grams. This digital camera has an image resolution of 12.1 mega-pixels that guarantee a better image quality. Images are to be viewed and previewed on the device's 2.5-inch LCD screen that has a 115k pixel resolution. Although, the Kodak EasyShare Z1285 12MP Digital Camera has a 64MB internal memory, it also provides SD/SDHC memory card expansion slot for increasing the memory capacity. The focal length of this camera varies between 35–175 mm.
With the SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON Lens System of this Kodak EasyShare Z1285 provides a 5x optical zoom. The optical enlargement factor determines the amount of magnification that can be provided to the original image without affecting the image clarity. The shutter speed of this camera lies between 1/2–1/2000 seconds. This allows you to precisely capture fast action events. The ISO sensitivity lies between 100 to 3200; hence enabling better low light shooting capabilities. This portable digicam comes with high definition video capture facility that allows you to capture movies in 16:9 format. These photos and videos can be viewed on any HDTV.
Kodak EasyShare Z1285 Compact Digital Camera comes with digital image stabilisation for removal of blur caused due to camera shakes. A Smart scene mode automatically selects the correct scenic mode to match the situation. A Panorama stitch mode offers the facility to capture sections of huge objects and stitch them to form one big picture. A dedicated Share button allows you to share your images and the PictBridge compatibility lets you take direct prints of your photos.
