HP Photosmart R742 Digital Camera

The HP Photosmart R742 is a no fuss compact digital camera designed for ocassional use and is housed in
an all-metal body. It bears compliance with the EU ROHS. It features an anti-shake mode to reduce blur.
The camera uses HP Photosmart Express to print, share, and save images. Its dimensions are 9.4 x 2.4 x 5.6 cm. It has a 16 MB, 32 MB integrated memory. There are controls for shutter release, power switch, and zoom control.
It has a 3x zoom lens (wide angle end and telephoto side) with a focal length equivalence to a 35mm camera of 36-108mm. It has a 7x optical zoom with a 21x total zoom.
It is a 7mp resolution camera with a supported memory of types MMC, SD, SDHC. Images are reviewed as thumbnails in the playback mode with 9 thumbnails per screen.
It has a 2.5" color LCD monitor with a total of 153,600 pixels. There is a frame movie mode. It has auto focus (TTL contrast detection) with a minimum focus range of 40 cm and a macro focus range of 5-35cm. It has a built-in flash and built-in red-eye reduction.It also has a built-in microphone. The program modes include picture capture, close-up mode, auto mode, steady photo, theatre mode, portrait mode, landcsape mode, action mode, night portrait mode, and sunset mode. The camera can capture videoclips at frame size 320 x 240 pixels and @ 24 fps. Focus, white balance, and exposure controls are available.
The flash modes include auto flash, flash on, red-eye, and flash-off. One can delete images either after capture or all images in the memory.You can scroll through menus and review images. It is easy to use, resets to defaults everytime it is turned off. The camera is powered by a 1 x Li-ion rechargeable battery. There is a CCD optical sensor 1/2.5" with a Max shutter speed of 1/2000 seconds and a min shutter speed of 2 seconds. The exposure modes are program and automatic.
There is automatic white balance and presets for white balance. The camera supports digital video in the MJPEG format and supports still images in the JPEG format. There is a motorized drive for zoom adjustment. There is a design gallery. The camera has a self-timer with USB compatibility and PictBridge support.
