HP Photosmart A444 Compact Digital Camera is a compact digital camera that comes with a printer, with a built-in dock for snap, touch and share. You can print borderless 4x6 inch prints with the included photo studio printer. Its dimensions are 3.8 x 1.4 x 2.5in and it weighs 6.7oz. It comes bundled with the HP Photosmart A440 Printer Dock. Its resolution is 5mp and it supports color.  It has a CCD optical sensor, whose size is 1/2.6". Light sensitivity is enabled with ISO 100, 200, 400, 800 and auto. This digital camera has a 5x digital zoom, and its shooting modes refer to frame movie mode. The shooting programs include anti-shake, sunset, theatre, close-up, night portrait, portrait, and landscape. Further, it has an electronic image stabiliser to ward off camera shakes. 

The maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 sec and the minimum shutter speed, 2 seconds. Exposure metering is centre-weighted and exposure modes include program and automatic as White balance setting is automatic. The Digital Video Format is MJPEG, while the Still image format is JPEG. Continuous shooting speed is 2 frames per second and video capture at 320 x 240 resolutions is enabled in this device, at 24 frames per second. The supported flash memory is a MultiMedia Card, an SD Memory Card, an SDHC Memory card apart from a 16MB integrated memory. This camera has a built-in flash.  The flash modes include red-eye reduction, auto mode, flash OFF mode, and Fill-in mode. This camera has red-eye reduction of the built-in kind as well. Effective flash range is 12 feet. This camera has a zoom lens, whose focal length is 5.9mm -17.7mm that equals to a 35mm camera at 36-108mm.

HP Photosmart A444 5MP Digital Camera supports autofocus with TTL contrast detection. Minimum focus range is 7.9 in and the macro focus range 10-80 cm. This camera has a 3x optical zoom feature that banks on motorized drive for zoom adjustment. Additional features include a self-timer, PictBridge support, date/time stamp, USB 2.0 compatibility, direct print, and audio recording. The display is a colour LCD TFT of 2.4" size with Active Matrix technological back-up.  This camera comes with a built-in microphone and the connections include a 1 x USB connection and an SD memory card slot. The software includes Drivers and Utilities, and a number of miscellaneous accessories including a wrist strap, 2 x AA batteries and USB cables also come along.
