Fujifilm has proudly announced the Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd Digital Camera, which is a compact camera that features an astounding 12x optical zoom lens. The Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd 10MP Digital Camera measures 102.5 x 73 x 67.8 mm and weighs about 325 grams. It includes CCD sensors that come with a picture resolution of 10 mega-pixels for superior quality images. It comes with an internal memory of 24MB; this internal memory can be increased using xD, SD or SDHC type of external memory cards. The images can be previewed and/or viewed on the camera's 2.7-inch LCD screen that has a display resolution of 230000 pixels.
The Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd Digital Camera makes use of Fujinon lens system that offers an optical zoom of about 12x. Such a high optical zoom is best suited for shooting wildlife and landscape objects. You can shoot almost anything and everything with this super-zoom camera. The digital zoom is 5.7x. The focal length of this camera lies between 5.9 to 70.8mm which is equivalent to 33 – 393 mm on a 35mm camera. The macro focusing range begins at 2cms. The sensitivity factor determines the sharpness of an image, the ISO ranges between 64 to 3200. Thus you can now get superior quality images even in dimly lit surroundings. Movies can be recorded at the rate of 30fps at a maximum resolution of 640x480 pixels.
Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd Compact Digital Camera includes a Panorama Shooting mode, which allows you to capture some really impressive landscapes in a max of 3 consecutive shots. It also includes the Face Detection function that identifies the faces in a photo and adjusts the contrast, exposure and focus for beautiful portrait photos. The camera also includes a Picture Stabilisation mode that corrects the blurred images caused due to camera shakes. Additionally it provides around 12 shooting modes, each suited for a specific occasion. It also automatically corrects the red-eye factor in the pictures. Along with this S1000fd portable digital camera, you get a 4xAA type alkaline batteries, a lens cap cord, a lens cap, a shoulder strap, a USB cable, an AV cable, a CDROM with software and an instruction manual.
