Power is maintained via 4 Epson AA NiMH rechargeable batteries and charger. It also accepts 4 x AA sized batteries of Alkaline, Lithium, Ni-Cd and NiMH. The optional AC adapter is of superior quality and this camera with dimensions of (W) 4.92 inches x (H) 3.15 inches x (D) 2.76 inches weighs just 0.71 lb without batteries.
