Fujifilm to Host Underwater Photo Festival

Fuljifilm UK Ltd. announces their first underwater photo festival; the ScubaSnap Weekend 2009 that is scheduled to take place in Looe, Cornwall on 12th and 13th September. In the surroundings of Cornish Coast and countryside this is guaranteed to be a fun filled weekend of diving and underwater photography.
The weekend is to include shore diving, photographic tuitions and seminars conducted by industry experts such as Maria Munn of Ocean Visions and Mat Trim of Fujifilm. It also said to host some photo competitions, a BBQ and a dinner dive.
The ScubaSnap Weekend 2009, is open to divers as well as snorkellers. However a rule is that all the photos for the competition are to be taken using a compact digital camera only. Along with photography education, the attendees will have an opportunity to evaluate the pictures along with industry experts on these two days. The divers have the chance to take part in a dinner dive to hand-pick the scallops for BBQ on Saturday evening.
