Concord 6340z 12 x Zoom Digital Camera is a compact digital camera with a metal body that is quiet stylish (3.9 x 1.3 x 2.2 inches) substantiating its design precision. Although this camera is compact, it is remarkably feature-rich. It has a narrow wide-angle view and center-weighted metering. Exposure modes are automatic. This camera features a 6.1mp CCD sensor (size: 1/1.8inch) designed to produce images of 2136 x 2848 high-resolution pixels. Minimum resolution is 640 x 480. Its color LCD refers to an extremely high resolution, say 1.5" LTPS (low temperature poly-silicon), 130k pixels that takes viewing and framing a level ahead, both outdoors and indoors. Concord 6340z 12X Zoom (4X digital/3X optical)camera's LCD display is coupled with an optical view-finder as well.

It has a fully automatic capture mode, aperture priority, shutter priority (with CCD electronic shutter speeds of 8-1/2000 seconds) and manual modes. There is no manual focus or auto focus. This camera also has continuous or burst shooting modes (only at lower resolutions) and white balance presets (Auto). It is Exif 2.2 compatible. The camera is powered by a 3.7v 900mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery pack, charged using an included AC adapter, plugged straight into the camera. You can store your pictures in the camera by making use of its SD card slot and 16mb of internal memory for unlimited photo-taking. It has a built-in flash as well. This camera includes flash modes (anti-redeye, fill in, auto, off, slow flash). Even the number of buttons used are limited making it easy to use except for the Serif font that is difficult to decipher. Aimed at a consumer, who is looking for a camera that is high quality, has a high resolution, has a packed feature set and enables ease of use, this camera produces pictures with sharp detail and superb print quality. With a feature set unmatched at this price range the Concord 6340z is worth a buy.

There are certain disadvantages to this camera as well. The overall image quality is disappointing, when using the Large/Fine mode. Images made outdoors also suffer from poor quality with a lot of in-camera edge sharpenings.
