Panasonic has introduced a new digital camera called the DMC FP8 to its LUMIX series. This latest digital camera uses Venus Engine V image processor for faster processing and better noise reduction. The Panasonic LUMIX FP8 12MP Digital Camera measures 2.35 x 3.77 x 0.80 inches in dimensions and weighs 0.29lbs. It provides an image resolution of 12.1 mega-pixels for detailed poster sized prints. It has a 40MB internal memory that can be increased using SD memory cards. It features a 28mm wide angle lens and provides a 4.6x optical zoom factor enabling you to get closer to the subject without going close.

Panasonic LUMIX FP8 Digital Camera comes with an intelligent ISO control factor that takes care of adjusting the lighting and contrast settings for optimised snaps. Also it includes the face detection technology, that is capable of sensing and focusing on human faces and then modifying the camera settings for perfect portrait photos. Panasonic has incorporated about 27 scenic modes for maximum convenience. An intelligent scene  selector senses the background conditions and activates the appropriate scenic mode for optimal photographic convenience. It has a powerful optical image stabilisation technique that is claimed to be twice as effective in compensating for blur caused by low frequency vibration.

Panasonic LUMIX FP8 Compact Digital Camera includes a sonic-speed AF system that enables you to capture scenes quickly and accurately. High definition movies can be recorded at the rate of 30fps at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It offers a long battery life of 380 shots. Along with this slim digital camera, you get a battery and a battery charger, an AV cable, a USB cable, a hand-strap, a CD-ROM and an instruction manual.
