Fujifilm FinePix Z300, Fujifilm’s First Touch-Screen Digital Camera.

Fujifilm has launched its first touch screen compact digital camera, the Fujifilm FinePix Z300. This is a small, sleek and chic digital camera that is loaded with loads of interesting features. The Fujifilm FinePix Z300 10MP Digital Camera comes with a 10 mega-pixel sensor that offers large sized good quality prints. It comes with a dimension of 92x56.5x18.5 mm and weighs about 150 grams. It is powered by a rechargeable battery. It comes with an internal memory of 31MB and an external memory slot for increasing the on-board memory capacity.

The most startling feature of this gadget is the 3-inch touch screen LCD monitor. So now there are no more fussy hard button to fidget with. Everything is touch sensitive. All the functions and controls are just a finger touch away. It includes an intelligent file management system that comes with a search facility for search your preferred photos. Also the file management system allows you to have folders to manage and sort the pictures. Additionally, a Blog mode can aid you in resizing the photo making it easy to upload on the web.

Feature-wise the Finepix Z300 provides an optical zoom of 5x, which means that the original image can be magnified up to 5 times its original size without distortion. With a light sensitivity of ISO 1600, you can take some excellent shots even in challenging lighting situations. This Fijifilm digital camera includes an Auto Scene Recognition function that enables the camera to self select and activate the correct scenic mode to match the surrounding conditions. Like many other digital cameras, it includes the face detection and image stabilisation technologies. While the face detection feature can detect up to 10 faces and optimise the camera settings for precise portrait snaps, the image stabilisation technique takes care of blur caused due to camera shakes.

Another novel feature in the Fujifilm FinePix Z300 Compact Digital Camera is the Couple and Group Timer modes wherein the gizmo detects the required number of faces in a particular scene and fires the shot as as soon as all of them are in the frame. Expected to hit the stores in the end of June, this gadget is expected to cost about $400. The camera's versatility combined with stylish looks and touch screen display makes it one of the must have gadget of this year.
