Sony has started it second innings in DSLR market with the launch of Sony DSLR-A700 digital camera 
model. They have not changed its outer functional body design, when compared to its previous model A100 and follow the trace of Konica Minolta Dynax 5D. Though the back panel and front portion comes in plastic some of the internal support of the body is made of magnesium alloy to withstand accidental drops.
