Casio’s new and innovative Digital Photo Frames, showcased at the CES, 2010

Almost everybody knows that the applying of special effects is really a great method for salvaging bad photos. Here goes, Casio has literally converted that method into a product! In fact, its novel “Digital Art Frame” goes on to transform even ordinary digital camera photos into fine art works, adding a new marketing angle to the entire frame. The frame is enabled with Casio's Dynamic Photo feature that automatically composites the videos on particular selected photos. This merging is quite tricky.
Other than that, it is a typical frame. Though, it comes with a massive 10.2 inches monitor that can more or less be called a widescreen. It is enabled with a Wi-Fi support function. It also has a 2 GB memory and supports SD media. Having made its official launch at the CES, this innovative concept “Digital Art Frame” will be available in the market sometime during spring this year, 2010. Pricing and date of commercial release are yet to be announced by Casio.

Sony is displaying its new Cybershot DSC-HX5V Digital Camera at the CES,2010. This digital camera features a 10 megapixel CMOS sensor that is back-illuminated. It comes with a 25mm lens equivalent of high quality. This digital camera is also enabled with a 10x optical zoom. This digital camera captures AVCHD format videos at a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 60i. Additional features include low light shots, high dynamic range and an intelligent sweep panorama.
Sony Cybershot DSC-HX5V Digital Camera comes with an improved optical image stabilisation feature that helps control shakes, when you are moving. In addition to an HDMI, this digital camera supports memory stick, SDHC cards and also transferjet cards. This digital camera is enabled with a burst mode that does some fast shooting at a speed of 10 frames per second. The specialty of this gadget, of course, is its in-built GPS and Compass, quite unique features for a digital camera.
