The FluCard, announced by the company, Trek 2000, is a storage card that has an in-built Wi-Fi connection. The FluCard is of the popular SD card size. Once you insert the FluCard into the digital camera, users can access its software, looking for a wireless network or also another FluCard somewhere in the vicinity.

The FluCard, once connected, allows its users to send pictures and videos to another digital camera equipped with the FluCard, in fact, you can upload videos or pictures onto Trek's website and can also be downloaded. Trek's new invention has already attracted the Japanese Giant, Toshiba, which, as part of its strategic business development, has placed orders for making an undisclosed number of FluCards. Toshiba will also support the distribution and intellectual property protection of the FluCard by leading a consortium comprising of leading manufacturers of photographic equipments.

The Flexline 100 in Touch Digital Camera comes in a flat case design in colours of pink, blue and black. In fact, this ultra compact digital camera is so sleek, stylish and trendy, Rollei is just about marketing this gadget more as a fashion accessory. Technically too, this digicam is good.

The 100 in Touch sports a 10 MP resolution image sensor, a 3x optical zoom, a 3 inches LCD with a touchscreen and also features 21 image filters. Samsung launches 2 new HZ series Digital Cameras

Both these digital cameras have similar specifications such as 12 MP image sensor, 24mm wide angle lens, 15x optical zoom, dual image stabilization, Schneider Kreuznach lenses with a 24-360 mm equivalent, HD video recording at 720p resolutions, full manual and semi automatic exposure controls, HDMI ports, optical image stabilisation and more. However, the HZ35W comes with a large 3 inch sized AMOLED screen and also features GPS for geotagging its images. The HZ30W comes with a 3 inch TFT LCD screen.

Samsung Launches 5 new Digital Cameras as part of its 2010 Line up

samsungs-new-digicamsSamsung has launched 5 new digital cameras as part of its 2010 lineup, the SL630, TL110, TL105, HZ30W and HZ35W. Samsung opines that this range is the perfect on-the-go, stylish cameras for family gatherings, parties and those special moments in life. Measuring just about 0.65 inches as thickness, the 14.2 MP TL110 comes with a 5x optical zoom and dual image stabilization feature while the 12.2 MP TL105 comes with a 4x optical zoom and digital image stabilization feature. Both these cameras are both equipped with a huge 2.7 inches LCD screen and a wide angle lens of 27 mm.

Samsung's 12.2 MP SL630, a point and shooter, offers excellent value for casual shooters with its wide angle of 28 mm, 5x optical zoom and dual image stabilization, all packed into its compact, slim frame. It has a 35 mm equivalent of 28 mm to 140 mm and allows you to capture desired scenes even from far off distances. The SL630 is enabled with movie recording capabilities and video recording capabilities at standard definition at a 640 x 480 pixels resolution at a speed of 30 fps. Samsung's new line up of digital cameras are not only handy in size, but are also versatile and flexible in their operations.
