Pentax 645D Digital Camera announced

pentax_645dPentax has announced its 645D Digital Camera, the digital version, and is quite close to being unveiled anytime now. This digital camera may, more or less, make its official rollout during the Japanese industry trade show during March, 2010. The 645D would turn out to be Pentax's first type of digital camera in the medium format. Right from the days in 2007, when Pentax had announced that it is developing this gadget, there has been high anticipation for the 645D digital camera for some time.

The Pentax 645D is compatible with film-based version lenses. Eventhough no official announcement has been made as yet, the 645D is highly expected to be enabled with a mind boggling resolution of 30 MP, thus, making this gadget as Pentax's sharpest ever camera. The pricing and core specifications of the Pentax 645D are yet to be announced. But, by the looks of it, Pentax is sure to produce a winner.

Canon PowerShot SX210 IS Digital Camera Announced

Canon recently announced a long array of digital cameras which they intend to release this year. One of the most striking digicam among these is the Canon PowerShot SX210 IS. This digital camera is supposed to succeed the Canon PowerShot SX200, adding some new features, while also retaining a few old ones.

The SX210 is a 14.1 Megapixel sensor camera, while its predecessor was a 12MP digicam. This new gadget presents 14x zoom and allows high definition video recording. At a frame rate of 30 per second, this camera is capable of shooting 720p videos.

Storing the photographs or transferring them to your PC is possible using memory cards. SD, SDHC and SDXC cards are supported by this device. An online 2GB cloud is as well available for storing the image and video files. This camera is equipped with an HDMI port. So watching videos and photographs on the big LCD and plasma TV screens will be an enjoyable experience.

Face recognition with 35 faces tracking and focussing is supported by this gadget as well. The Smart settings allows automatic shutter speed selection. The digicam also houses a 3" display with wide viewing angles and high contrast ratio. A 28mm wide angle lens is present inside too. Other features present include DIGIC4 image processing and optical image stabilization.

The Canon PowerShot SX210 IS Digicam is priced at £360 and is said to be available for sale in March 2010.

On the outside, it looks quite identical to its current PEN, but, this time around, it also includes an integrated pop-up flash as well.
