Nikon’s latest D300S Digital Camera launched

Nikon has launched its latest digital camera, the D300S DSLR. The highlight of this digital camera is its contrast detection autofocus feature that is operational even while in movie mode, a first for the Nikon DSLR range. It has the virtual horizon feature. This digital camera comes with a non latched door for memory card along with a SD and CF slot behind it. Since it has been enabled with 2 cards, you can use one after the other to split videos and stills as well as the JPEG and RAW file formats.
Nikon D300S Digital Camera comes with a multi controller function that has a separate central button by which movie recording is initiated even while in live view. It has a continuous shooting speed of 7 fps and 8 fps. It has a quiet drive mode as well as a couple of extra D lighting options such as Extra High and Auto. It has an interactive settings display screen that allows for the shooting settings to be quickly changed. And to top it all, this digital camera comes with a 13.1 MP CMOS sensor and a 3 inches LCD monitor.

German Leica and French Hermes have collaborated and produced a very special gadget, the Leica Hermes M7 Limited Edition Digital Camera. It features a Leica Summilux-M wide angle lens. Going by reports, this digital camera has come out in a limited edition of 200 numbers. It is available in brown and orange colours of 100 numbers each. The M7 belongs to the classic rangefinder system of digital cameras. A special sequential number has been given to each individual camera.
Leica Hermes M7 Digital Camera has the Leica name engraved on the top plate in classic script. And to preserve and retain the colour harmony of its leather covering, there has been a omission of the red Leica logo. All its control elements have been exclusively manufactured in metal and the camera back has been given a silver chrome finish. The Leica Hermes M7 Limited Edition Digital Camera is expected to be available in the UK from this December 2009 onwards.
