Casio Europe has recently announced the Casio EX-Z280 Digital Camera that includes some good features and functionalities for a host of situations. The device boasts of a 12.1 mega-pixel sensor that is capable of providing large poster sized prints of the captured images. The Casio EX-Z280 12MP Digital Camera is equipped with a 26-104 mm equivalent zoom lens that offers an optical zoom of 4x. An optical zoom allows the user to magnify the image without causing any distortion to the resultant picture. A CCD-shift image stabilisation feature mechanism has been incorporated in the unit to take care of the various types of blur caused due to camera shakes in hand-held shooting.
Casio EX-Z280 Digital Camera features a high-speed EXILIM Engine 4.0 image processor in addition to the regular processing engine that enables the camera to perform many complex functions like combining two images etc. right on the camera along with producing good amount of colour reproduction, and rich tonal effects. It includes a face detection technology that detects people’s faces and optimises the camera settings accordingly. Also a make-up mode has been added that works towards softening the facial shadows and smoothens the skin to deliver beautiful portraits. Casio has incorporated an autofocus functionality that will continuous track and focus on the subject even if the subject moves preventing any kind of unfocused photos from being shot.
Casio EX-Z280 Compact Digital Camera sports an HD movie function that allows you to capture beautiful video at 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. the videos can be recorded and shared on YouTube by using the computer software. For beginners an easy mode has been provided to simplify their photo shooting experience. Additionally, a Dynamic Photo Function has been included that provides the facility of being able to acquire multiple themes from a single series of photos and then turn them into an animated sequence. This digital camera is expected to hit the stores in the later part of this month.
