Casio EXS500 digital camera is a hottest selling camera in the UK market. It has a built-in flash with various modes. It displays in Liquid Crystal Display screen and the total resolution of the camera is 5.25 million pixels. A pixel is a picture element in images. Casio EXS500 digital camera comes with a 1/2.5 inch square pixel primary colour CCD image sensor. It has 2.2 inches wide monitor with digital TFT colour LCD screen and has a resolution of 84,960 pixels (354 x 240). It can capture the fine quality of images and prints up to A3 size with 5.0 million pixels. It has an Anti Shake Digital Signal Processor. It is built-in with flashes that have 8.3 MB (Mega Byte) recorded area as memory. Stills are captured in the JPEG (Exif – 2.2) DCF standards and DPOF compliant.
Casio EXS500 digital camera supports 3x of optical zoom and 4x of digital zoom feature and when it is combined it takes 12x. Built-in flash function of the camera supports various modes as Flash on, Flash Off and Red Eye reduction. Flash ranges from 0.4 to 1.5 meters in wide and 0.4 to 1.5 meters in tele approximately.
Casio EXS500 digital camera has a playback functions as Still image playback (4x zoom), Movie playback, Trimming, Resize, Rotate, 9 image display, Calendar, Favourites folder, Copy, Image roulette and Slideshow (Photostand). It has SD and MMC medium card slot for recording the images and videos. It has USB cradle with AC adapter, microphone and speaker. It takes AVI (MPEG -4 compliant) for movies and WAV as audio. It can record videos over one hour with good VGA quality at a speed of 30 frames per second.
It has a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. Battery has a life that allows up to 200 pictures per charge based on CIPA standards. Casio EXS500 digital camera has a dimension as 90 x 59 x 16.1 mm (W x H x D).
