It offers 7 mega-pixel of optical zoom and a 3x optical zoom lens system. It comes with easy to use straight forward controls for simple operations. The 7MP resolution is sufficient enough for delivering good quality images. The 3x optical zoom lens system allows users to magnify the images to[ 3 times its size without causing distortion. A 2.6-inch LCD screen has been provided for composing and farming the picture before shooting. It can also be used to view and share images with others after shooting.

Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z77 7MP Digital Camera is equipped with a 11.4MB of internal memory that can be increased using SD/SDHC cards. The light sensitivity ranges from ISO 50 to 800, and it includes a ISO 1600 high sensitivity mode for better shooting capabilities in low light conditions. It measures around 95 x 59 x 20 mm in dimensions and weighs about 118 grams. It includes 41 scenic modes to choose from and has a Best Shot selector option that activates the most appropriate scenic mode. A digital blur reduction function allows delivers crisp and sharp images by counterbalancing and compensating the blur caused due to camera shakes in hand-held shooting. The motion analysis technology keeps track of the subject movement ensuring to capture each and every movement.

The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z77 Point-and-Shoot Digital Camera is equipped with an auto-tracking AF system and face detection technology as well for optimised portrait snaps. Video can be recorded in MPEG-4 H.264 formats and can be optimised to be uploaded in YouTube via the YouTube uploader software that comes bundled with the camera.
