Casio Exilim EX-Z270 Digital Camera

Casio has unveiled a digital camera; Casio Exilim EX-Z270 Digital Camera that uses the new EXILIM Engine 4.0, image processing engine that enhances your photographic experience.

Casio Exilim EX-Z270 10MP Digital Camera comes with a 10.1 mega-pixel image resolution. A higher image resolution produces the finer details of images. The images can be viewed on the camera's 2.7-inch LCD screen (which has a resolution of 114,960 pixels), the computer (using the USB interface) and on a television (owing to the video-out port). It has a dimension of 98.2 x 54.9 x 20.1 mm and a weight of 112 grams. This camera supports SD/SDHC and Eye-Fi Wireless cards. The focal length of this camera ranges between 4.65mm and 18.6mm which is equivalent to 28 to 112mm on a 35mm film based camera.

Casio Exilim EX-Z270 Digital Camera comes with 4x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom; a total of 16x zoom. However unlike the digital zoom, the optical zoom does not affect the image quality adversely. The max light sensitivity of this camera is ISO 3200; the camera can self adjust the light sensitivity as per situation to deliver sharper images. The normal focus range of the camera starts at 40cm while the macro focus range starts at 15cm Thus very close images can also be shot with precision and clarity owing to the camera's macro photographic function. There are about 37 scenic modes provided by Casio for bringing out your photographic creativity.

Casio Exilim EX-Z270 Digital Camera uses the EXILIM Engine 4.0 image processing engine that can deliver wonderful colour reproduction with rich tonal range, better noise reduction with about 30% less power consumption that eventually increases your battery life. Casio Exilim EX-Z270 Slim and Compact Digital Camera can be used to record movies at the rate of 30fps while high definition movies can be recorded at the rate of 24fps. One of the distinguishing features of this camera that it performs excellently in Night mode. It also includes the Face Detection technology that tracks and focuses on the face before adjusting the camera setting for delivering the perfect shot. Also a make-up mode is included which smooths and softens the facial expressions to create beautiful images. These Casio digital cameras are accompanied by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a battery charger, an AC power cord, a USB cable, an AV cable, a CD-ROM and a manual. The Casio EX-Z270 is expected to be out in the market by March 2009.
