S. Joy :
I bought a Canon Powershot A430 because i thought Canon was a really good brand. I really liked the camera and took meticulous care of it. It came with a one year warranty. Four months after the warranty expired the camera stopped working. When i rang Canon about having it repaired, i learnt that their standard charge to look at it is the same as the price of buying a new one! I am very disappointed, and i’m afraid my camera has now joined the mountains of throw-away electronic rubbish. I certainly know i’ll never buy a Canon product again, and i would discourage anyone from buying anything made by Canon given my experience with their quality. S. Joy
