Canon PowerShot D10 Digital Camera; is Canon's first shockproof, waterproof and freeze-proof camera; which is an ideal companion to all the adventurous lot. The Canon PowerShot D10 12MP Digital Camera measures 103.6 x 66.9 x 48.8mm and weighs about 190 grams. It comes with a high picture resolution of 12.1 mega-pixels. A higher image sensor resolution is believed to deliver superior quality images. Images can be previewed on the camera's 2.5-inch LCD screen that comes with a display resolution of 230K pixels. Continuous shooting can be done at the rate of 1.1 frames per second. The camera's internal memory can be increased using SD, SDHC or MMC external memory cards. It comes with a self timer of 2 sec and 10 seconds.
The Canon PowerShot D10 Digital Camera comes with a 3x optical zoom. This optical enlargement factor determines the amount of magnification that can be provided to an image without any loss to the image clarity. The digital enlargement factor, on the other hand may result in blurred images, the digital zoom is 4x. The focal length of the camera ranges between 6.2 to 18.6 mm that is equal to 35 to 105 mm on a 35mm equivalent camera. The ISO range that determines the sharpness of the image ranges between ISO 80 to ISO 1600. This camera also includes 6 white balance settings including the underwater mode. The brightness level can be adjusted to five levels. This camera can record videos at the rate of 3 fps, with a maximum video resolution of 640 x 480 pixels.
