Canon has an added another product to its Powershot series, the Canon Powershot A480 Digital Camera, which is an easy to use with intuitive functions and affordable costs.
Canon Powershot A480 10MP Digital Camera comes with an image resolution of 10 mega-pixels. A 10 mega-pixel resolution helps in delivering an image with finer details. Images can be viewed either on the camera's 2.5-inch LCD screen (which has a display resolution of 115000 pixels), the computer (using the USB interface) or on the television (through the video-out port). It has a dimension of 92.1 x 62.0 x 31.1 mm and a weight of about 140 grams. It uses Canon's patented DIGIC III image processor that helps deliver good quality images with better clarity and precision. The maximum shutter speed of this camera is 1/2000 seconds.
The optical zoom of the Canon Powershot A480 Digital Camera works out to be 3.3x, which means that images can be zoomed to 3.3 times its original size without any loss to image quality. The digital zoom of this Canon Silver Digital camera is 4x, the digital magnification factor however adversely affects the image clarity resulting in blurred images.
