The Canon Ixus110 IS 12MP Digital Camera is metal bodied and measures 98 x 54.1 x 22mm in dimensions and weighs about 145 grams. It includes CCD sensors that provides an image resolution of 12.1 mega-pixels. It uses DIGIC4 image processor for faster processing, better image quality and excellent noise reduction factors. The camera comes with an external memory slot compatible with SD, SDHC, and MMC storage media cards. The focal length range offered is 5-20 mm which is equal to 28-112 mm on a 35mm equivalent camera. Images can be previewed using the camera's 2.8-inch LCD screen that offers a screen resolution of 230K pixels.
With a 4x optical zoom, the Canon Ixus110 IS Digital Camera ensures that the original image can be magnified to 4 times its size without causing distortion. The digital zoom provided is also 4x, however by using digital zoom, the image can suffer distortion. For better shooting at night a high ISO range of 80-1600 is provided. Also Canon's in-lens stabiliser works to deliver blur-free results. An active display feature gives you a compelling and motion activated way to review your photos.
Canon Ixus110 IS Compact HD Digital Camera allows you to capture movies in high definition mode at a high resolution of 1280x720 pixels. You can then use the HDMI connectivity to view the photos and videos on a HDTV. Additionally the Face Detection and Scene Detection technologies ensures great photographic experience. Also the motion detection technology senses the subject's movement and adjusts the shutter speed according for blur-free images. Finally the i-Contrast feature adjusts the lighting and contrast effects from optimal images. This portable camera features a curved and elegant design and offers a choice of colours to choose from.
