A 3D-Rotating "Lens-eye" technology provides for the top-tier image quality of BenQ DC E600 Compact Digital Camera. This camera has a Panoramic Focus and is a 6MP digital camera. It has a 3x optical zoom and a 4X digital zoom and weighs 135g. There is no viewfinder or color support, though It comes with a CCD optical sensor and is ISO enabled for light-sensitivity. There is a 4 x digital zoom with a Frame Movie Mode. The max shutter speed is 1/2000 sec and the min shutter speed is 2 sec, 8 sec. There are White balance settings in automatic, custom, presets, and automatic. White balance presets include Fluorescent, daylight, cloudy, tungsten light. Digital video formats include MPEG-4, AVI, MJPEG and still images are stored in the JPEG format. JPEG Video captures like 640 x 480 - 30fps; AVI - 320 x 240 - 30 fps; AVI - 640 x 480 - 30 fps; AVI - 160 X 128 - 30 fps; MPEG-4 - 640 X 480 - 30 fps. The shooting programs include portrait mode, landscape, backlight, sports, night-scene mode, and night scene with portrait.

This camera has an effective sensor resolution of 6000000 pixels. optical sensor size is 1/2.5". The special effects include Black and White, vivid, and Sepia. Exposure metering include centre-weighted, spot, and average. The exposure modes include programme and automatic. There is a built-in flash. The flash-modes include forced mode, flash-off, slow-synchro, built-in red-eye reduction, fill-in mode, and auto-mode. The effective flash range is 0.3m - 2m with a zoom lens 5.8mm - 17.4mm - f/2.7-5.2 and an auto-focus with TTL contrast detection.

BenQ DC E600 3 x Optical Zoom Digital Camera has a minimum focus range of 40 cm and a macro focus range of 15-50 cm. This camera has a 3x optical zoom with a motorised drive for zoom adjustment. It has an exclusive user interface, that is the 2.5" high resolution LTPS LCD screen that allows VGA movie recording at the rate 30 fps. This camera has a self-timer with audio recording and playback mode, USB 2.0 compatability, PictBridge support, auto power save, 1 x li-ion rechargeable battery pack, resizing an image, and its software includes Drivers & Utilities,Ulead Photo Express, Ulead VideoStudio and Ulead Photo Explorer.
