BenQ DC E1000 10MP Digital Camera has a picture resolution of 10 mega-pixels. The maximum image resolution is 3584x2688 pixels, and the minimum resolution is 640x480 pixels. It has a height of 58mm, a width of 96.1mm and a depth of 22mm. It weighs just about 135 grams with the batteries and SD card loaded. This Benq digital camera is equipped with a wide 3-inch LCD colour monitor with a LCD resolution of 230K pixels. Thus now the images can be viewed to the finest of details. The focal length of this camera ranges between 7.4mm to 22.2mm; this is equivalent to 35.1 to 105.3mm on a 35mm equivalent camera. Thus now images with fine details can be captured as well as landscaped images, which need wide area coverage.

BenQ DC E1000 Digital Camera has an optical zoom of 3x and a digital zoom of 4x. The optical zoom allows users to magnify the image up-to 3 times its original size without any loss to image quality. This camera has an in-built internal 6MB; however the memory capacity can be increased up-to 4GB using SD memory cards. The shutter speeds range between 1/2000seconds and 8 seconds. It has a high light sensitivity of ISO-1600, which helps in delivering clearer and sharper images. This camera supports 6 white balance modes such as: Auto, Cloudy, Daylight, Tungsten, Fluorescent (H) and Fluorescent (L). The flash modes offered are Auto, Forced ON, Forced OFF, Slow sync and Red eye reduction.

BenQ DC E1000 Compact Digital Camera can record movies with sound at the rate of 30fps, has a self timer function, a normal focus range of 50cm and a macro focus range of 10cm. Along with this Benq digital camera users get a USB cable, Software CD ROM, a User's Manual, a Hand Strap, a Pouch, an AV Cable and a Li-on Battery with a Battery charger set.

Additional Features:

  • Shake-Free hot-key:  there is a Shake-free hotkey that is located just beside the shutter button. It can be activated under any scene mode.

  • Face-Tracking function: It can track up-to 9 human faces and focuses on it adjusting the colour and contrast automatically.

  • 12 Burst captures in 1 second: It can capture 12 burst shots in 1 second.

  • Shutter and Aperture Priority: the shutter and aperture priority gets automatically adjusted to produce blur-free images.
