The BenQ DC C640 Digital Camera is a compact digital camera with a whole range of features to fulfill your photographic needs. It has a large 2.5" LTPS screen coupled with a 6mp resolution (max resolution of 2816 x 2112 and min resolution of 640 x 480), a CCD sensor of size 1/1.7- inch, 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom (zoom wide 37mm and zoom tele 112mm). A PASM function gives you full autonomy and control to decide how your image will look. The C640 is enabled with a top-tier smc Pentax lens that acheives 99.8% light penetration to ensure optimum image quality.

Good control over the aperture/shutter helps you explore your imagination and creativity. The camera automatically controls the amount of light that enters it according the light in the scene setting by controlling aperture/shutter. Program mode provides full access to all menu options and ensures ease of shooting. The camera also sets shutter speed according to the requirement of the exposure. You can make use of the shutter priority mode, even when your subject is on the move and you wanting to avoid image blur. Aperture priority mode can be used to control depth-of-field. You can alteranately reduce shake by making use of a tripod too.

Under the manual mode settings, you set the aperture, exposure and shutter speed for maximum manual control. This camera has a maximum shutter speed of 1/2000 sec and a minimum shutter speed of 8 seconds. When shooting a family or a get together, you can choose the camera to focus on the faces of some special people with the face-tracking function. All you need to do is point and at anyone in the group and half press the shutter button. Maximum video resolution is 848 x 480 and minimum video resolution is 160 x 120 in this device. The Pictbridge function makes this camera printer compatible. There are 2 AA batteries that act as the power source. This camera has a SD- supported memory. It also has a built-in flash with anti-red eye, auto, off, fill in, and slow flash being the various flash modes available on the camera. This device comes with auto as well as manual white balance features. It also has a self-timer. Images are stored in the JPEG file format. Its dimensions are 91.5 x 61.5 x 32 mm.
