With so many digital cameras to choose from it is often difficult to select one that suits you requirements. BenQ has introduced a compact digital camera for people who are shifting their base from conventional cameras to digital cameras. The BenQ DC C530 Digital Camera has simple functionalities yet provides users with a lot of options to experiment with.
BenQ DC C530 5MP Digital Camera is made up of CCD sensors with a picture resolution of 5 mega-pixels. A higher resolution provides superior quality images with more finer details. The minimum image resolution is 640x480 pixels. This digital camera is 8.9cm wide, 2.9cm thick and 6.1cm high. It weighs only 130 grams. The images can be previewed on the camera's 2.4-inch LCD display screen which has a screen resolution of 130K pixels. This camera has an internal memory of 12MB; however it has a slot for connecting external SD memory cards. The focal length of this camera ranges from 5.4mm to 16.2mm which is equivalent to 32 to 96mm on a 35mm film camera. This indicates that all types of images can be shot using the BenQ DC C530 Digital Camera.
BenQ DC C530 Digital Camera has an optical zoom of 3x which indicates that the image can be magnified up-to 3 times its original size without any loss to image clarity. The digital zoom of this camera is 4x which means that a particular section of the image can be blown up-to 4 times however the quality of the image may be affected. The white balance modes provided are daylight, cloudy, tungsten and fluorescent. It provides four flash modes with automatic red-eye correction feature. The maximum light sensitivity offered is ISO 1000; higher light sensitivity indicates clearer and sharper images.
BenQ DC C530 Compact Digital Camera can be used to record movies with sound owing to the camera's in-built microphone. Movies can be recorded at the rate of 30 frames per second with a video resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This camera is PictBridge compatible which enables printing of images directly on a PictBridge compatible printer. Additionally the camera has a USB slot for PC interface as well as a video-out jack for connecting the camera to the television. This camera comes with an USB cable, a AV cable, a wrist-strap, a user's manual, a pouch, and a CD-ROM with all the necessary software.
