Many creative shots can be possible only by use of different angled Tripods. Tripod gives you freedom to think in a broader perspective for a scene and lets you to try placing your digital SLR in 360-degree angle with complete rotation. Tripod is a must used accessory for professional photographer who likes to try different ideas for particular scenic photography.

Tripod is of great help for trying different techniques in photography such as Kite aerial photography, macro photography, night photography and more effective panoramic photography. Tripod is also introduced especially with panoramic head for taking effective panoramic shots. Using this tripod you can take a shot, rotate the camera with measured steps, and continue shooting consequent shots in-order to create panoramic effects.

There are different types of tripods available. The most popular design would be the one with the centre post and a mount to hold the camera with telescoping adjustment to rise or lower the height. Usually the camera mouth has the plate for placing the camera and offers the freedom to pan and tilt the camera in different degree of angle. The camera mount also comes with a handle that helps you to operate camera by avoiding jostle. It also firmly holds on the ground with collapsible telescoping legs.

Every tripod has a head, which is the basic that enables the camera tilt to 90 degree sideways for taking professional portraits photography instead of landscape photography. Small tablepod tripods are also available that can be conveniently carried along with you. In addition, clamp pod is there with ball head attached with C-clamp and offers portability. Some photographer likes to use single long leg tripod called monopod. It provides the equal image stabilization by supporting the photographer who does not require holding full weight of the camera.

More expensive tripod has the option to built tripod-head combination and it can be customized for the photographer needs and creativity. Sometimes such tripod also equipped with additional features such as reversible center post so that you can mount the camera below between telescoping legs. By using such feature, you can aim for lower shots with different angles.

Once you fix up the picture perfectly and take that shot without any blurry by keeping the image still, unfortunately by the click of the camera button the subject get disturbed and comes out with blurry image. This problem can be solved by stabilizing the image before going for a click; this is possible only by placing the camera on the sturdy tripods and this is called image stabilization. Even though you place the camera on tripod the tiny vibration will occur by pressing the camera button that is why advanced digital SLR comes with mechanical image stabilizer.

Mechanical image stabilizer will detect the tiny vibration created by your hands and compensate it by fractionally moving sensor inside the camera. In most common compact digital camera, mechanical image stabilizer will offer two or three exposure shots. You could probably set slower shutter speed to allow more lights to enter into the camera to avoid the blur image. The other method to avoid blur image is by setting higher shutter speed so that the vibration does not have time to shake the picture. In this case, the camera automatically sets itself to higher light sensitivity to compensate for less light and adds more information to the sensor in less time.
